I wished I could have made it to the rodeo. I love a good rodeo and this one would have been great! I’m sure many people in Pickens County and the surrounding area made it to the 1st Annual Jasper Rodeo. This is a wonderful family pass time and I’m glad this rodeo has come to town.
I once lived in Tomball, Texas and while there, went to the Huntsville Prison Rodeo – where the prisoners were the ones to be the exhibitors with the bull riding, bronco busting and a finale’. The finale’ was where all the prisoners got into the ring and they let a big, bull out with a $100 bill tapped to his horn and whomever got that $100 bill off that horn, won it! That was wild.
