Spring Into Life – Annual Joy House Banquet
Come Spring Into Life with us at our annual banquet on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the Appalachian Campus of Chattahoochee Tech in Jasper. We are looking forward to celebrating with old and new friends all the good things Christ is doing in the lives of the teens and families we have the privilege to serve.
The evening will begin at 6:30 pm and we will enjoy a great meal together with fellowship around the tables. We will follow the meal by a brief program update and a testimony from one of our families. Some of our young ladies will be performing a musical skit, which was a great blessing to all of us last year.
We are excited to partner again with the Sharptop Arts Association in providing great items for auction, both silent and live. It is an honor to have Ken Dobbs, former Executive Director of the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home, as our keynote speaker for the evening. At the close of the evening, there will be an opportunity to invest in the lives of these teens and families and continue making a difference for Christ’s sake.

At The Joy House things are in full swing here for our annual banquet. We’ve had a great response for table hosts and are looking forward to celebrating with some of our faithful friends and introducing The Joy House to some new friends.
Our theme this year will be Spring Into Life. We will be celebrating the true life that Christ brings as He restores and heals the teens and families we serve. We are excited that Ken Dobbs, the former president and chief executive officer of The Georgia Baptist Children’s Home, will be joining us as our keynote speaker. He is a man committed to Christ and shares a passion to see teens and families restored.
Our banquet is always a great time to celebrate all the Lord is doing here in the lives of these teens and families we serve. The evening will include a great meal and fellowship, we’ll then enjoy an update on the ministry, hear a testimony from one of our families, be inspired and challenged by our keynote speaker, and enjoy some great music and hopefully a drama by our teens.
