Do you enjoy your summer vegetables?
We’re getting to that time of summer when there are fresh vegetables, fruits and herbs everywhere; in your own garden, at the farmers market, the super market and small stands along side of the road. The small vegetable stands are nice place to be able to pull off the road, buy a small container of fresh tomatoes, cantalope or watermelon and take them home. It’s even more enjoyable including them with our meal.
The vegetable stands along side the road have been around a long time and are a great place to get good, home grown produce. Don’t pass them by, stop and pick up some fresh veggies for dinner tonight and enjoy a little of Pickens County! And Don’t Forget The Boiled Peanuts!!!
Now that is summer here in Pickens County, Georgia!!!
