On Saturday and Sunday, the first weekend of the month of October, we had the 29th Annual Georgia Marble Festival in Jasper, Pickens County, Georgia. What a beautiful Saturday for the road race, the Marble Festival parade and the festival itself. There were so many people at the parade and the festival and I know that all had a great time.
The parade lasted about an hour and there were lots of great floats and people involved. We are so fortunate to have something this wonderful in our little area of the world – something we can enjoy together.
