This Saturday afternoon my husband and I found ourselves in Woodstock and ready for lunch. He said he knew of this little ‘hamburger joint’ off of Main Street in Woodstock, so we headed that way. It was called Burger Inn, and even though it was not a ‘fast service’ kind of joint, it was worth the wait. Great cheeseburger – yum! He called this place a hidden gem.

But it made me think of our own little area of Pickens County and I thought of two great places that are ‘hidden gems’ right in the little area of Jasper – Quick Burger out past the High School and Speed Burger, right in the little town of Jasper. Both places are ‘hidden gems’, that people really don’t know about unless you are somebody from Jasper and Pickens County!!! What a special place we have here in our little town of Jasper, Pickens County. These places are the kind that are shown on TV, like on Diners, Drive-In and Dives and are written about in the newspaper as to what they have and how they serve the public!

Go out and visit our two ‘hidden gems’,  they have some great burgers and such! Just what the hungry soul asks for!!! If you find yourself visiting in Pickens County, be sure to go by and check one or both places out, you’ll be glad that you did!
