When we left Atlanta on Saturday morning, September 19th for Vegas, we had a downpour of rain but no idea that the rain would keep coming, and coming and coming. When we got to Las Vegas, the weather was Vegas Beautiful! But with the beautiful weather in Vegas, we had no idea of the weather in North Georgia! Except for our Facebook friends and the ATL News!!! We have good friends in the Woodstock area and some of their homes and cars were under water! Unbelievable!!! and for an area that had been in a ‘drought’ for the last few years, all this rain at one time on a fairly parched ground, made for easy flooding, especially with all the rain so fast!

Here are some pictures/video that were sent to me while in Vegas. I hope that we never see anything like this in our area again. Thank Goodness we didn’t have anything like this in the little area of Jasper, Pickens Coungy, GA!!!

How nice that you captured your travels, and the first few photos are heartbreaking, as I scrolled down I say the blue and then the rainbow, god sign to us all.
