Do you want to increase your business?
Are referrals a good source for you to gain new customers?

Today (June 24, 2010) was the second Leads to Business Networking Event, which is held at the Chamber of Commerce Building once a month.

Casey Warnock, State Farm Agent here in Jasper got the meeting started by giving his ‘elevator speech’ about himself and his company. Next up was Beth Coberly of Kevin Panter Insurance, Beth Compton of Southern Home Inspection Services, Pam Martin Butler of Seventy-Four Ranch, Linda Ross of Choices for a Better Life, Jonnie Salas of Century 21 Best Mountain Properties, Denise Hammontree of Chattahoochee Technical College, Sherry Keegan of K Michael Financial Services, Brittany Payne of United Community Bank, Joyce Yohler of Isagenix and Stacey Godfrey of Pickens County Progress.

The whole idea of the Leads to Business Networking Event is to take time to visit and network with like-minded business owners. There is time to ‘meet and greet’ and hopefully, be able to connect, work together and refer each other’s company. This is an intentional event with focused networking and leads generation as the sole program.

By coming to these events, you meet people who you would not normally meet, and you learn about their business and they learn about yours. That way, you may be able to work together in the future or refer each other. Networking is the lifeblood of business.
