Support Staff for the Pickens County’s Biggest Loser Competition
Connie Dixon, Dave Garner, Dr. Austin, Barbara Moore, Robb Mack, Dr Rush, Louise Brown, Teresa Mullis, & Jackie Nowell
Today, Saturday, January 10th marks the beginning of the upcoming 12 week Biggest Loser program for 12 Pickens County residence. From 11am to 5pm, people were coming in and out of BodyPlex to audition for the upcoming competition, just like what you see on TV’s Biggest Loser. When the contestant arrived, they filled out their information and was given a number. When their number was called,
they went in front of the panel of judges who asked them 4 questions, and by the answers, they made their decision as to whether that contestant would stay or go. At the end of the day, 12 contestants were chosen to participate in the first ever, Pickens County’s Biggest Loser Program! There are 4 men and 8 women, which will make up two teams-the Red Team and the Blue Team.
What a lot of people do not know is this would not be possible if not for the dream of Connie Dixon 
of WYYZ, here in Jasper. With the help and commitment of Robb and Isabella Mack, 
owners of the BodyPlex and several other businesses here in Jasper, this dream would not have become a reality.
