This picture sums it up! After 4 ‘snow days’!!!
1-12-11 – A lot of our readers are not from the North Georgia Area, and when they see many of these pictures, they’re saying ‘that is the norm for us, what’s all the big fuss?’ But you have to realize, this is not the norm for North Georgia. In fact, this snow has really crippled the Metro Atlanta and North Georgia area…and we are really ready for it to be over. Our average temperatures in the winter are in the mid to high 40′s and into the 50′s, which is really very nice. So we are really looking forward to this cold, winter weather to be out of here…
On Monday, January 10, North Georgia got hit with a pretty good size snow storm. One of the things about Facebook, so many people love to show off their photography and with the winter storm having come through the North Georgia Mountains, there are snow pictures galore!!!
