On Friday I was in Jasper going out to the Post Office to mail some letters. I was on Church Street right below the traffic light at Main Street waiting in traffic. To the left of me, there was a guy hand washing a truck; not something you see every day here in Jasper. As I’m sitting there, waiting for the traffic light to change, I also saw this truck with an auto sign on it, something about ‘dent repairs’…I only had a minute before I had to leave so I quickly I wrote down the telephone number.

I went to the post office, the grocery store and on my way home, I pulled into the parking lot of Automotive Dent Specialist. There I spoke with Gary Dobson, who gave me a free estimate of the dent in my drivers door, a dent in the hatch in the back and the dents on the front and back bumpers. The estimate was very reasonable and he said he could get to it on Monday.

That was today! At about noon, I dropped my 4 Runner off with Gary and he said he would try to get it done today but it may be in the morning. He said the repairs could take 4 to 5 hours and he would do the best that he could with the front and back bumpers. He said the drivers door and the hatch dents would be no problem.

I received a phone call from Gary about 3pm saying he would probably be finished with my truck about 4:30pm. He went on to say that he was pleasantly surprised at how well the repairs/dents were fixed and that he thought I would be happy with the results.

AND I AM!!!

If you have dents or even some minor damage to your vehicle, take it up to Gary and let him give you an estimate of what he can do for you. He is very reasonable and gets the repairs done very quickly. I had previously taken my 4 Runner to a body shop here in town to see what it would cost for the front and back bumpers to be repaired (no repairs at all quoted on the drivers door or the hatch dents). They gave me an estimate of about $1,200.00.

Now the repairs Gary did, did not include replacing the bumpers like the body shop repairs did, but Gary did such a great job, you can not tell there had been dents there at all.

It is wonderful to know that there is a business here in Pickens County, where you can take your vehicle to get minor dent repairs fixed, that won’t cost you an arm & a leg.
