As I sit here on this rainy and nasty night, and watch the pictures and videos of the Fur Ball, I am so amazed and impressed with Susan, who was challenged at getting the whole Fur Ball function together and to run as smoothly as she and her volunteers did…it may not seem to her that is was smooth, but I promised, we didn’t notice any kind of glitches, especially once the band started playing.
Please watch and enjoy these videos, you will see many of the vendors, guests and volunteers who helped make the 3rd Annual Fur Ball a Great Success. Do you see yourself, or maybe a family or friend? If so, let them know by sending them this link www.jasperpickenscountyga.com and they will be able to preview the video also.
The Fur Ball was a great success! About 175 or so people attended and they enjoyed the Silent Auction, where there were ‘deals’ galore, White Wine and Daiquiris, compliments of Jack at Trouts Beverage, A wonderful dinner put on by Hans and the Woodbridge Inn and entertainment by The GLOW Band, which turned out to be a wonderful night of reminiscing music and a lot of fun, on the stage, getting down, MUSIC! They could have played on and on!!!
Be sure to go to their site at www.theglowband.com and learn more about the band – they were wonderful and deserved a much bigger crowd than stayed around! Maybe next year!!!
Here are a couple of my favorite songs that they sang, be sure to watch til the end…they were great!!!
See who you might know at the Fur Ball-
Rocky Top Tennessee (my husband’s favorite)
The Devil Went Down to Georgia (my favorite)
The Band was great, they really made the end of a wonderful, benefit to the animals of Pickens County – Thank You Susan!!! You are the best!!!

Wow! What a great compilation of the event! I appreciate the support of all of our hard working PAR volunteers who helped make this night so successful. Not to forget the Sponsors, Silent Auction Donors & All of our Guests who bought their tickets & spent even more money at the auction.
It takes the support of our community in many different ways to assist PAR in doing what needs to be humanely done for the abandoned animals in Pickens Co. On behalf of the animals….THANK YOU-THANK YOU-THANK YOU!
