Wonderful Birthday Dinner at the Woodbridge Inn

The Woodbridge Inn for dinner, you can’t beat it!

Yesterday was my husband’s birthday and I made reservations at the Woodbridge Inn and what a wonderful dinner it was.

We met at the Woodbridge Inn at 6pm. As we entered the restaurant, guess who is sitting just inside the front door? Yes, Joe is sitting there greeting ‘us’, as we came in. We chatted a minute with Joe and he told us about the upcoming work on the Wood Bridge, but that’s another post.

Anyway, we were seated and ordered drinks and appetizers. Our favorite is the Baked Oysters Rockefeller, With fresh spinach, sauce hollandaise, and parmesan cheese, which we both ordered. The dinner was very special and tasty and just when we were going to order coffee and a desert, they brought us a plate of cake & ice cream with a very low ‘Happy Birthday‘ and an ‘enjoy your birthday cake’.

You couldn’t ask for a nicer, more relaxed and enjoyable time out!

With the bridge work soon to start, we told Joe that he didn’t have to worry about us, we’ll go the extra, 1/2 more or so further down the road just to take a round-about back to his restaurant because we love it! And we will be back!

Check out Joe’s Woodbridge Inn and it’s history. The Woodbridge Inn You will see more of Joe and his restaurant in future posts! Be watching for it!
