I mentioned the program that PAR was participating in to a very good friend in Illinois (who is definitely an animal lover and friend of rescues) and she told me that she and her husband had just adopted a rescue puppy…this is what she wrote: It just so happens that we adopted an 8 week old rescue puppy a couple of days ago and we now have to house-break him in what seems to be one of the coldest Decembers I can remember. The trade-off is that we hired a company to plow the snow from the driveway this year, so we’ll spend less time exposed to the cold. Here is a photo of the new puppy “Cooper” and our Yorkie “Winchester” – these are our only children.
We truly love our ‘rescue’ parents!!!
